Ingredients:
- 180g Flour 00
- 70g Sugar
- 100g Butter
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 30g BIO strawberry jam
- Powdered sugar to taste
Procedure:
- To prepare delicious cookies with butter and jam, start by mixing flour, sugar, and lightly beaten egg yolks in a bowl. Use your fingers to mix the ingredients well until you obtain a uniform mixture.
- Then incorporate the soft butter in pieces, working the dough until it becomes smooth and lump-free. Move the dough onto a flat surface, shape it into a roll about 30 cm long, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.
- At the end of the resting period, cut the roll into slices 2 cm thick with a smooth-bladed knife, obtaining about 15 pieces. Then, preheat the oven to 180°C in static mode and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Shape the washers into balls between your hands, placing them on the baking tray leaving space between each one. Gently press the center of each ball with your index finger to create a dent, then bake at 180°C in the lower part of the oven for about 20 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cookies cool, then fill each cavity with a teaspoon of jam and sprinkle with powdered sugar to finish: here are your butter and jam cookies ready to enjoy!
